Singapore travellers will soon have a new route into one of China’s most underrated regions. From 26 October 2026, Scoot is set to launch direct flights from Singapore to Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province, giving travellers an easier way to discover the landscapes, heritage and local cultures of southwestern China.
The new route will operate three times a week using an Airbus A320neo, providing a convenient connection between Singapore and Guizhou. One-way Economy Class fares will start from S$158, including taxes, making the destination an interesting option for travellers looking beyond China’s more familiar cities.

Located in the mountainous southwest of China, Guiyang offers a very different atmosphere from major metropolitan destinations such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
